The Cleansing Co.

The Heart Behind The Soap

My journey with soapmaking began in 2021, inspired by my great-grandmother, a woman who lovingly made soap to care for her 13 children. What started as a connection to her legacy quickly became something deeply meaningful to me | a way to create, to nurture, and to serve my own family.

Although I closed the door on the first business, the passion never left. As a mother of two, I found myself longing to build something again | something that felt joyful, purposeful, and safe for my family to use every single day. This brand was born from that desire.

Each bar of soap is handcrafted using the traditional cold process method, made with natural colorants and pure essential oils. Every ingredient is chosen with intention, creating a product that is not only gentle on the skin but something you can feel good about bringing into your home.

But this brand is more than soap.

It's a daily reminder.

In the simple, quiet moments | whether it's a morning shower or an evening bath | I wanted to create something that points back to what matters most. The cleansing of our bodies can reflect something even deeper: the truth that Jesus Christ washed away our sins, gave His life on the cross, and rose again so that we could be made new.

My prayer is that each time you use these products, you are reminded of that love, that grace, and that renewal.

I am so grateful to share something so close to my heart witn you. What began as a small idea has grown into something filled with purpose, and I truly believe the Lord is guiding every step of this journey.

Thank you for being here,

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is cold process soap?

Cold process soap is a traditional method of soap making where oils and lye are carefully combined and left to naturally saponify. This process creates a rich, long-lasting bar that retains the natural benefits of the ingredients.

Why does soap need to cure?

After being made, cold process soap must cure for 4–6 weeks. During this time, excess water evaporates, resulting in a harder, longer-lasting bar with a better lather.

Do your soaps contain fragrance or dyes?

No. All soaps are scented only with pure essential oils and colored with naturally derived ingredients. We never use fragrances or artificial dyes.

How should I store my soap?

Keep your soap in a dry, well-ventilated area between uses. Using a draining soap dish helps extend the life of the bar significantly.
